Investment has commenced with a lease on a 1.23-acre site in Kerege Town, Bagamoyo District, Coast Region - the home of our polymer insulator factory.

Import substitution with clear demand.
Tanzania’s polymeric insulator requirement is met through imports today - estimated at 11,396 tons per annum, projected toward 15,189 - 20,000 tons by 2035 as electrification and industrialisation continue (~2.5% import growth). PECO’s plant is designed to capture part of that demand with local manufacture.
